BCE/BC gives students the opportunity to pursue a U.S. college education in Ecuador. Admission is guaranteed to all students who have earned a standard high school diploma in Ecuador or in any other country and have completed mandatory admissions examination.
How to Apply
- You should start the admissions process at least 10 days before you expect to begin studying at BCE.
- You must present a valid original of your high school and/or college/university transcript(s) from all institutions you have attended.
- You must pay a one-time, non-refundable application of $120.00 for international students. This is a records processing fee and will not be refunded if you do not enroll.
- You must submit a completed admissions application form to the admissions office in Guayaquil or in Quito. Applications can be obtained at these offices or online at http://www.broward.edu/stuserv/forms/reg-38.pdf
- If you have a U.S. Social Security Number (SSN), U.S. federal law requires that you furnish this number with your application. International students in Ecuador will be given a unique student number upon registration. The U.S. SSN must be included on all documents filed by the institution with the Internal Revenue Service.
- Students with transcripts from a university outside the United States must submit their transcripts with a commercial evaluation and translation in English. BCE/BCC uses Josef Silny & Associates, Inc. in Miami. Check www.jsilny.com for information and talk to the admissions officer at BCE.
- If the applicant is transferring from a U.S. university, a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 is required.
- International Bachelorette (IB) credits are accepted at Broward College. Students have saved up to 29 college level credits by transferring their IB credits from high school.
